Canada Day at the Inner Harbour
July 1 @ 12:00 pm - 10:30 pmFree
The Canada Day celebration you know and love will be back with a great lineup of family-friendly events, live music, and spectacular fireworks display over the Inner Harbour, all set to take place on July 1st!
This year, to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary, there’s even more free outdoor events at the Inner Harbour. For 11 days Victoria will commemorate our nation and multicultural artistry.
On Saturday, July 1 the site opens at 11:00AM. The Family Zone and food trucks will be open, and not to worry, the Coast Capital Living Flag will be back on the BC Legislature Lawns early in the afternoon – we’ll have 1500 red and white shirts to hand out, so make sure to come early, or feel free to bring your own!
At the main stage on the BC Legislature lawn, you can expect amazing performances starting at noon and ongoing till 10:30pm by:
The Arkells (headliners)
The Funk Hunters
De Temps Antan
Stella Swanson and the Rosie Joyfuls
Valdy & the Children’s Choir
Once again we’re committed to our ongoing green initiative, so expect to see the Canada Day Team Green out in full force keeping our beautiful Inner Harbour clean. Keeping with the green theme, the free bike valet service offers a safe place to lock up bikes for all who wish to leave their cars at home. Also, be sure to drop by Ship’s Point to check out the market!
The Canada Day fireworks are set to take place at 10:20pm.
